The Language of Art Deco

I love the language used to describe Art Deco. For example: Clean, gracefully curved surfaces, aerodynamic, sleek-streamlined, horizontal bands of chrome-plated steel, obsession with speed and travel, energetic, theatrical, exotic, craftmanship. Cross-fertilization of ideas....I can't get enough of the writers talk about the influences of this style.
