Art Deco Hotel Clarendon Quebec City, Canada
 |
I was in Quebec City recently and I snapped this shot of the Hotel Clarendon, which incidentally is the location for this year's Art Deco post-congress.
The hotel's facade is actually a mix of both, Art Deco and Art Nouveau styles. For example, its geometric ziggurat shape is classic Art Deco and the scrolly-design on the wall sconces is more typical of Art Nouveau. For more info about the Art Deco Congress and Hotel Clarendon, please visit 10th World Congress on Art Deco.
