Art Deco Boucheron Cigarette Case

Women in the 1920s created quite the stir when they began smoking in public. This smoking trend, originally started by the Flappers, gave rise to bejeweled and sparkly cigarette cases. This Art Deco ivory, enamel and onyx cigarette case, by Boucheron, is a beautiful example. It sold for $10,196 US in a recent Christie's auction.
